"Dear Artist" was written in a under rather unusual circumstances in 2009.

Two hours after suffering a seizure, my mind was trying to find a way to escape the fear associated with it. Particularly frightening was the fact that this was the only seizure that was not related to alcohol withdrawal.

Several weeks passed before I revisited the song & recorded it.

"Dear Artist" is the only song where every track was done in one take.
